Project Overview
World Vision Japan has been implementing a remedial education program in Irbid, in the northern part of Jordan, which hosts a number of Syrian refugees. As a part of the program, this project introduces “Tokkatsu” (special activities conducted in Japanese schools) including classroom activities, club activities and school events. Through these activities, the project aims to improve the life skills of Syrian child refugees and Jordanian children, strengthen their resilience as well as mitigate discrimination on the basis of nationality, and promote social cohesion.
