• Project Overview

  The latest music curriculum for primary education in Kenya includes implementation of musical instrumental activity using such as recorders. However, the current state of affairs is that the activity is not implemented in music classes. This project aims to implement music education using recorders, which Yamaha considers the optimal educational instrument for primary school age. First, we will introduce to pilot schools music education including musical instrumental activity utilizing Japanese-style music education expertise. Furthermore, the project will support writing textbooks and teaching guides to ensure that classes based on competency-based curriculum are properly conducted.
