EDU-Port Japan exhibited a booth at Global Educational Supplies & Solutions (GESS) Dubai 2019 on February 26-28 (Tuesday-Thursday).
About 12,500 educators from around the world visited GESS Dubai 2019, including the Middle East, Africa, Europe, and Asia. There were pavilions for each country and ICT content, toys, science materials, vocational training tools. Other latest education products were exhibited at the booths, which provided a good opportunity to get in touch with educational trends in the world.
About 800 school principals, teachers, and private companies visited EDU-Port Japan’s booth which featured the theme of elementary school classrooms in Japan. With the cooperation of Dubai Japanese School etc. the booth exhibited school desks and chairs, stationery, arithmetic sets, textbooks used daily in elementary school, disaster prevention helmet, recorders and keyboard harmonica (musical instruments), calligraphy sets, school lunch samples.
There were many people who saw these items for the first time, and it seemed that they felt the ambience of Japanese-style education. Many of the visitors asked many questions related to Japanese-style education. In addition, many people expressed desire for collaboration in the future. We received strong interest in Japanese-style education from the Middle East and Africa.
